Our Principal and Staff

Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.

Welcome from the Principal

Welcome to Orange Public School, a vibrant and inclusive learning community with a proud heritage and a strong focus on the future. At OPS, every student is known, valued, and cared for. We are committed to building a safe, inclusive community where students feel a strong sense of belonging.

We set high expectations and use evidence-based teaching strategies that meet the diverse needs of our learners. Through this approach, we nurture persistence, curiosity, and a growth mindset, empowering students to see challenges as opportunities and to celebrate their progress as lifelong learners.

Beyond academic success, we are committed to developing the whole child. Our students have opportunities to shine across creative arts, sport, leadership, and enrichment activities, ensuring a balanced and inclusive education. Together with our dedicated staff and engaged community, we continue to build a school where every student can achieve their best and feel a strong sense of pride in being part of OPS.
