A year at our school

Congratulations to our 2025 SRC!

Our SRC consists of School Captains, Vice Captains, Prefects, House Captains, Creative Arts Captains and Junior AECG Captains.

Each year they participate in a Leaders Conference and our Peer Support Program.

Tournament of Minds Success

Congratulations to our TOM teams! Tournament of Minds (TOM) is a creative problem-solving competition where students work together to tackle challenges in areas such as STEM, the Arts, Social Sciences, and more. OPS achieved outstanding results — placing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in STEM, 1st and 2nd in The Arts and 3rd in Social Sciences. Two of our teams are now heading to Sydney in a fortnight to represent our school at the next level.

PSSA Rugby

Our Girls Rugby 7s and Boys Rugby Union teams travelled to Coonabarabran for the State Quarter Finals, both taking on tough Inverell opposition. In thrilling contests, both teams won their matches, securing their place in the State Finals in two weeks.

Congratulations to all players and a huge thank you to our staff, parents, and community supporters.
